Abstract

Human development does not only place humans as objects of development, but also becomes the subject of development itself. Human development focuses on improving the quality of human life and not just pursuing economic achievements. The Human Development Index (HDI) is a measure that specifically describes the achievement of human development based on a number of basic components of quality of life. The HDI of Ambon Municipality in 2021 was 81.23, increasing 0.39 points from the index value in 2020.
