Preparing the Publication "Ambon Municipality in Figures 2024"

One of the statistical data compilation products produced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for provinces/districts/cities throughout Indonesia is the publication of Regions in Figures, including BPS Ambon City. This publication is always published every year and this year BPS Ambon City will publish the publication "Ambon City in Figures 2024". This publication contains general information relating to geographic and climatic conditions, government, developments in socio-demographic and economic conditions in Ambon City.

Prior to the publication of this publication, BPS Ambon City held a Forum Discussion Group (FGD) which was held on 5-6 February 2024 and took place in the BPS Ambon City hall. This activity was opened by Ir. Chaterina Henderina Persulessy as Head of BPS Ambon City and continued with the presentation of material by Angelia Alberthina Saiya S.S.T, M.T. as Young BPS Computer Expert Officer for Ambon City. The material presented is related to "Sectoral Statistics and One Indonesian Data" and "Evaluation of the Implementation of Ambon City Sectoral Statistics (EPSS).

In preparing publications, Ambon City BPS certainly cannot stand alone, but collaborates with Ambon City agencies/institutions, companies and regional apparatus organizations (OPD). In the FGD activity, Ambon City BPS invited 46 agencies/institutions, companies, and Ambon City OPD. It is hoped that the FGD can produce sectoral data for better development of Ambon City. Not only that, it is also hoped that the FGD can improve the quality of the publication "Ambon City in Figures 2024", considering that this publication is one of the main references that can be used for planning, basis and evaluation in making Ambon City government policies.
